YARN
1 set SweetGeorgia Hexa Hue Tough Love Sock Mini-Skein Set (six 105 yd / 96 m per 1 oz / 28 g mini-skeins; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon) in Eclipse.
2 mini-skeins SweetGeorgia Tough Love Sock (105 yd / 96 m per 1 oz / 28 g skein; 80% Merino, 20% Nylon) in Peacock and Azurite.
NEEDLES & NOTIONS
Size 8 US / 5 mm and 9 US / 5.5 mm circular needles, 24” /60 cm long
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
(6) stitch markers, one in a different colour to indicate beginning of rnd, tapestry needle
GAUGE
17 sts and 24 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch, unstretched, after blocking, using larger needle
Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size.
PATTERN NOTES
This cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up. The pattern calls for 8 different colours, but it is completely customizable for your preference.
