Construction
Åsa Shawl is worked from tip to tip with a hood attached to the centre back. The i-cord and the rest of the shawl are worked simultaneously. The stitches for the hood are picked up at centre back of the shawl for a seamless construction. All parts are decorated by an all over stripe pattern in reverse ridge stitch. You can choose to mix several colours, or only use one as we have done here.

Yarn
The shawl is knitted in fingering/sport yarn held double with lace yarn. Approximate yarn amount in total is 760 m of each quality (190 g of fingering/sport yarn and 85 g of lace yarn).

If you knit the shawl without the hood, it will be enough with 600 m (150 g) of fingering/sport yarn and 600 m (67 g) of lace yarn.

The shawl in the photos is knitted in Isager Tweed (200 m/50 g, the colour Thunder) and Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (225 m/25 g, the colour Dusty Petroleum Blue).

Konstruktion
Åsa Shawl stickas från spets till spets och är kantad med en i-cord som stickas samtidigt som själva sjalen. Mitt bak har sjalen en huva. Maskorna för denna plockas upp direkt på sjalen, så ingen montering krävs. Hela sjalen stickas i ett strukturmönster bestående av ränder i aviga och räta maskor. Du kan välja att blanda in flera färger, eller bara använda en som vi har gjort här.

Garn
Sjalen stickas i ”fingering-/sport-garn” som hålls dubbelt med ”lace-garn”. Ungefärlig garnåtgång är totalt 760 m av varje kvalitet (190 g ”fingering-/sport-garn” och 85 g ”lace-garn”).

Väljer du att sticka sjalen utan huva är det tillräckligt med 600 m (150 g) ”fingering-/sport-garn” och 600 m (67 g) ”lace-garn”.
