Arlette Shawl
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
The Arlette shawl is the perfect all-occasion wrap. Created in Tunisian crochet by Sharon Silverman, the author of Tunisian Crochet: The Look of Knitting with the Ease of Crocheting, Arlette’s stitches have a sophisticated, architectural look. The lightweight wool drapes elegantly and is soft and warm without being heavy. This easy-care garment is machine washable and dryable.
The pattern covers 4 rows and uses Tunisian simple stitch, Tunisian knit stitch, and crossed Tunisian simple stitches. There is a 3-row border of single crochet.
The size N Tunisian hook must be a rigid one at least 14 inches long, or have a flexible extension. The length must accommodate 190 loops.
