Édouard Manet and others often found inspiration in Argenteuil, France. With its quintessential landscapes dotted with gardens, bridges, and river views, it was one of the most-painted regions by impressionist painters. In the Argenteuil Top, a field of reverse stockinette stitch highlights an impressive openwork and traveling-stitch panel.
