Two 3.5oz (100g) wheels of Unpun Icelandic wool (soft, hairy, lightweight, and very warm. Or 6-7oz (170-200g) of Shetland Jumper-weight wool (25g balls). A 24” circular needle; about US#10-11 to give a very loose gauge.
