It’s through the garden gate,
I stroll, to my favorite knitting space.
My bench awaits the lace, on my needles.

Arbor lace Shawl makes a relaxing project that comes with both written and charted instructions

Classic heart-shaped triangle, knit top-down finished off with some ribbing for the edge.

Note: Comes with a repeatable lace section, although due to the nature of the stitch pattern, the repeat section is larger, so you’ll need lots of yarn if you want to make your shawl bigger. But definitely easy to do! Instructions noted in the pattern for approx 88 x 34 inches shawl using double the yarn.

Finished Measurements: Wingspan x depth at centre after wet blocking: 62” x 22” / 157.5 cm x 56 cm

Yarn: MC - 450 yds / 410 m, in DK weight that achieves gauge. Sample knit in Tosh Merino DK by Madtosh, in colourway Chill Pill.

Needle Size: US size 7 / 4.5 mm circular needle for holding a large number of stitches

Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch marker

Gauge: 16 sts = 4” / 10 cm in Lace Stitch after wet blocking (gauge is not overly important; however, it will alter yardage and finished measurements)

Skill Level: Intermediate
