Aran Splatter hat
This is a top-down hat in two sizes. The adult size fits heads 18-21 inches, and the child size 16-19 inches. You can adjust the brim size to your liking, and the stretchiness of the hat will fit a range of sizes comfortably!
I made 2 hats with pom-poms from 2 skeins; the smaller hat took only 100 yards, and the larger hat a bit more than one skein ( with pom-pom)
The hat begins with i-cord, and grows from there. If you don’t want a pom-pom, you can make the i-cord longer and tie it in a knot.
You will need a set of double-pointed needles for the top, and then 16-inch circular for the body of the sweater.
Adult size bind off round 70, child bind off round 50 for a nice cuff, or make it shorter or longer as yarn allows.
