This cowl is inspired by the warmth of the sun on a brisk winter’s day, a phenomenon known as apricity. The pattern is worked in the Linked Double Crochet (LDC) stitch while holding two strands of bulky yarn together. This variation of the Double Crochet (DC) stitch links double crochets together to create a denser fabric with fewer holes. The result is a luxuriously warm, yet lightweight, cold-weather accessory.
