The solution: the swatch coaster!

A set of these textured coasters is a quick palate cleanser project, and makes a great gift.

Materials
— Jill Draper Makes Stuff Windham
[4 oz (113 g) skeins, each approx 220 yds (201 m), 100% US merino]: 1 skein Chamois, Cherry, Cinnamon, Graphite, or Steel Cut Oats
—Note: One skein will make at least 8 coasters.
— Size US 7 (4.5 mm) needles, or size to achieve gauge
— Stitch markers
— Cable needle

Knitted Measurements
— 5” × 5” (12.5 × 12.5 cm)

Gauge
—22 sts and 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) over Cable Pattern, using larger needles
