Ann’s hat was initially designed as a lightweight, Spring chemo hat: for a friend winning her battle!
I liked it so much, it now includes sizing for an average-sized head as well.
Design & Details
~ easy, quick knit only requires 1 ball of yarn (125 yds)
~ tiny cable-like stitch design allows airflow but doesn’t expose your head the way eyelets would
~ design makes it perfect for Spring or Summer wear
~ two sizes are included in the pattern (small- 20” and medium- up to 23” stretch)
Skills Needed
~ pattern requires 16” circular knitting ( in the round)
~ this is an easy pattern; basic knitting skills required
~ knit, purl, cast on/cast off, decrease
Tools Required
~ 4.0mm & 4.5mm 16” circulars
~ 1 skein of DK yarn (110-125 yds- depending on size chosen)
~ scissors, stitch marker, large-eye blunt sewing needle, measuring tape
