This year was my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and I wanted to do something extra special for them to mark the occasion. I decided that I would knit them a keepsake blanket made with a glorious yarn. I have included it in this book because it looks so much more complicated than it is, once again showing that when you have a beautiful yarn a simple pattern can look rich and beautiful and a beginning knitter can make a keepsake!
