A soft cowl with a lovely halo of angora sets off the crisp shell texture of this versatile sweater. The cowl is crocheted separately from the sweater, with a buttonhole edge to attach to the sweet button accents around the sweater neck. The sweater itself is cozy with the cowl and a layer underneath, or cool and sleek on its own when spring arrives.
