Ammonite Shawl

Inspired by walks along the Cornish coast searching 
for interesting fossils and colourful flowers, this simple 
triangular shawl is worked in a beautiful blend of yarn that 
is perfect to slip over shoulders on a cool spring evening.
MATERIALS 
● Eden Cottage Yarns 
Yarnlings 4ply, mix of 
bases, 5g 
Yarn A: 24 assorted colours 
● Eden Cottage Yarns Hayton 
4ply, 80% Merino wool/ 
10% cashmere/10% nylon, 
100g/350m/380yds 
Yarn B: Sage x 1 skein 
Yarn C: Misty Woods 
x 2 skeins 
● 3.5mm hook
YARN ALTERNATIVES 
You can use any 4ply-weight 
yarn to achieve a similar 
e ect. Please check tension 
if substituting yarn.
TENSION 
Work Full Motif to measure 
10 x 10cm/4 x 4in using 
3.5mm hook, or size needed 
to obtain tension.
