Amigurumi Stuart the Clam Puppet
by Stacey Trock
Not only is Stuart an adorable clam… he’s a puppet! This amigurumi is constructed so that you can stick your hand in his shell, and even move around his eyes! If you aren’t interested in a puppet, simply stuff him, and stitch him closed in the back. This clam puppet measures 4 inches wide by 2 inches tall when completed.
To complete this pattern, you will need:
- size H (5 mm) crochet hook
- 3 colors of worsted weight yarn (made with less than a skein each of Plymouth Galway): tan, pink and black
- two 12mm blue animal eyes
- tapestry needle
This is an easy level pattern, requiring only basic shaping. Detailed finishing photos provided.
