Alva is a simple color block sweater with a classic silhouette, set-in sleeves and a tidy crew neck. Sweater is knit flat from the bottom up and seamed. First, the front is knit back and forth to the shoulders which are shaped with short rows for a good fit. Then, the back is worked in similar fashion and the front and back shoulders are joined with a 3-Needle Bind Off. Sleeves are knit flat and sewn into armholes.
