The blouse is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch using one strand of Paia and one strand of Alva held together.
First, an eyelet pattern is worked for the neckband, after which the work continues in stockinette with short rows worked across the neck stitches.

The yoke is worked with raglan increases down to the base of the armholes, where the work is divided; the body and sleeves are then worked separately.

The body is finished with a folded stockinette stitch hem.
The sleeves are worked to three-quarter length and finished with an eyelet pattern edging.
