In the original pattern I used Sirdair Adventure Yarn -and Lion Brand Wool Ease Rowing Stripes - super bulky rowing yarn with exceptional warmth, softness and thickness. You can substitute any super bulky weight yarn like Malabrigo Rasta but please keep in mind the rowing yarn is a tad thicker - so I would add 2 stitches more for the cast on if you will be substituting yarns.
