These ultra-comfortable and fully customizable (to any size/fit) slippers are the best thing ever for wearing around the house! Easy flat-knit one-piece (plus cord) construction in garter stitch (no purling) is basic enough for the beginner, while the fun, fast origami-like final assembly will hold the interest of even the most expert knitters.
Additional gauge information:
Four-stitch I-cord diameter (flattened) = approximately 1/2”.
Materials needed: In addition to yarn (see below) …
- US Size 7 knitting needles (or size necessary to attain desired gauge), straight or circular used as straight.
- Large-eyed yarn needle (for finishing).
This pattern is made with SWTC’s Karaoke yarn, 50% soy silk/50% wool (washable), one (1) to four (4) skeins, amount solely dependent upon size of slippers (each custom-sized to wearer’s foot), in Color 309 Multi — Rhapsody (orange/brown/off-white) or your desired color.
