Fizzy columns of slip-stitch cables rise from Alcione’s front hem, dancing over tonal contrasting stripes that travel to the stockinette back. Choose two coordinating shades of springy, woolen-spun Tones, then customize the boxy unisex fit with slim or classic sleeves and a ribbed crew or mock neck collar. Knit in the round, the only seaming required is at the thoughtfully shaped shoulders — how refreshing!

Construction

  • This pullover is worked circularly from the hem to the armholes. The front and back are worked separately to the end of the shoulder shaping then shoulders are seamed together. Stitches are picked up from the armholes for the sleeves, which are worked circularly to the cuffs.
  • Neckline and sleeve versions include a crew neck, a mock neck, a fitted sleeve version with a shallower armhole, and a classic sleeve version with a deeper armhole.
