Air Quotes Socks
Please note, errata for this pattern can be found here.
I’m not sure why, but the cable design for these socks reminds me of the old-fashioned quotation marks - in journalism class, we’d call them 66 and 99. Somehow, it seemed appropirate to dub these the Air Quotes socks, and they’re sure to spark many a conversation when you knit them in Baah yarn!
Sizing
S (M, L) - approx. 7” (8”, 9”) cuff circumference

1 (1, 2) skeins Baah Sonoma
(100% Superwash Merino Wool, 100g., 233 yards)
Shown in Poison Ivy
US #3 DPNs
Stitch Marker (SM)
Cable Needle
Darning Needle
Gauge
26 sts = 4” in stockinette stitch
Notes:
If only one number is given, instructions apply to ALL sizes.
For medium size, you may wish to purchase a “safety”
skein of yarn, especially if you plan on modifying your socks
from the pattern as written - I only had a few yards left after bindoff!
