PATTERN INFORMATION
A soft and comfortable blouse in Alpaca Silk with the most beautiful leaf pattern inspired by maple leaves. The blouse is perfect to wear on its own on a spring day or paired with a blazer on a cold winter’s day.

The blouse is worked from the top down in one piece with a round yoke. The leaf pattern on the yoke is designed so that the increases are worked in a continuous manner. The pattern is not complicated to work up and only requires knowledge of reading a pattern and making simple decreases and yarn-overs. The yarn makes for an elastic fabric and therefore there is no ease in the final garment, it fits tightly to the body. The edges are worked in garter stitch and bound off with the Icelandic Bind-off, which is a bind-off method that results in a more elastic bind-off than a traditional one. When working the sleeves of the blouse, the Magic Loop method may be used, if you are familiar, otherwise DPNs can be used instead.
