From the Booklet Description:
The pattern used for the body of this sweater was found in Latviesu Rakstainie Cimdi by Mirdza Slava. A three-color Latvian braid was worked in the borders and Joyce designed the “Acorns” for the borders and sleeves.
Note that yardage reflects full balls of the old one ounce put up of the three colors. You will need approximately 9 ounces (1260 yards/1156 meters) each of the main colors and a smaller amount of the third which is used only for the Latvian Braids.
The body is knit in the round from the bottom up. The sleeves are picked up from the steeked armhole openings and knitted down to the cuffs.
Instructions for the working the Latvian braid are included.
