A Thousand Suns Cowl
A sunflower field is like a sky with a thousand suns.

Cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up using the stranded colorwork technique. The colorwork pattern is worked from a chart, beginning & ending with corrugated ribbing.
Materials:
Cascade 220 by Cascade Yarns, (100% Peruvian Highland Wool) 220 yds/200 m, 3.5 oz/100 gm. One skein each in:
- #8401 Silver Grey (MC)
- #7827 Goldenrod (CC1)
- #2445 Shire Green Heather (CC2)
Size 8 (5 mm) circular needle, 24” length, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Stitch marker (1)
Yarn Substitution:
Worsted weight yarn in 3 colors of choice, approx. 170 yds (MC), 65 yds (CC1), 80 yds (CC2).
