A Study in Botany
A great project for beginner lace knitters! This shawlette is created with increases happening every other row. It begins with subtle 4-stitch increases over the first chart, followed by the repeat chart which increases by 8 stitches. This creates a unique elongated triangle shape. The shawlette can easily be lengthened into a shawl with more repeats. A stretchy yarn-over bind-off finishes off the edge, allowing the lace to expand and grow with blocking. Pattern includes charts and separate written instructions. All stitch repeats appear in bold text for easier reading.
