A Scarf to Knit for Vera

In this beautiful scarf, a tribute to the brilliant British detective Vera Stanhope, Susan Strawn used Erika Knight’s British Bluefaced Leicester wool grown and spun in Yorkshire, a nod to Vera’s home patch. ( Interweave)
Materials
- Erika Knight British Blue Wool, 100% British Bluefaced Leicester wool, DK (medium) weight, 60 yards (54.9 m)/25 gram (0.9 oz) ball, 7 balls of #114 Sea Fret
- Needles, size 5 (3.75 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
- Tapestry needle
- Blocking wires and pins
Finished size: 62 inches (157.5 cm) long and 9¾ inches (24.8 cm) wide
Gauge: 19 sts and 32 rows = 4 inches (10.2 cm) in charted patt
