A Charming Afternoon Jumper
THIS charming afternoon jumper […] is knitted in a very simple lace pattern. The waist ribbing is carried up to a point both front and back—you could, of course, omit this if you wanted to simplify the work.
Materials: 5 ozs. of Paton’s Super Scotch Fingering, 2-ply (the jumper illustrated took 3½ ozs. in green, and 1½ ozs. in white. A pair No. 11, a pair No. 9 “Inox” or “Beehive” knitting needles (if a loose knitter, use No. 12 and No. 10 )(Old UK). A No. 13 “Inox” crochet hook.
Tension: 7 stitches to an inch.
Measurements: Bust 34 inches; length, 18 inches; sleeve seam, 19 inches.
