A Cardigan for Sven
Please read: This pattern is a companion piece for the Sven & Solveig pattern by the wonderful Carol Anderson and using my pattern modifications found on the Barrett Wool Co. Journal. My mods create a smaller doll than in the original pattern.
I decided my Sven & Solveig dolls could use a new cardigan (it fits both!), a removable garment, to go over the cleverly knit-in clothing. If you have a Barrett Wool Co. Sven & Solveig Kit you’ll have plenty of gorgeous Wisconsin Woolen Spun yarn leftover. So why not use it to make a cardigan or two for the dolls. I made the sample in one color, Hawthorn, but you could do stripes, add a little colorwork to the yoke, add accent cuffs and trim, etc. Have fun and I hope you enjoy this extra piece to go along with Carol Anderson’s amazing pattern. This cardigan will only fit the Sven & Solveig dolls knit with Susan’s modifications which are found on the Barrett Wool Co. Journal. Click here for the modifications.
Measurement: 4 1/2-inches in length from the collar to bottom edge of the body.
