This pattern provides instructions for a Panda toys, knitted in King Cole Chunky yarn.

Gauge:
14 stitches and 20 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 6mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

Sizing Information:
Large Panda - tall (seated) approximately:
(Size 1: 34cm / 13.5”).

Small Panda - tall (seated) approximately:
(Size 1: 24cm / 9.5”).

Yarn used:
King Cole Tinsel Chunky - 50g balls.
76.5yrds/70m
Shades: White (204), Black (230), Cream (1990), Matador (1859), Pale Pink (1993), Pink (1584), Pale Blue (1995) and Royal (217).

Adult Panda 1:
Shade A - 2x White
Shade B - 2x Black
(Size 1: 4 balls yarn).

Adult Panda 2:
Shade A - 2x Cream
Shade B - 2x Matador
(Size 1: 4 balls yarn).

Baby Panda 1:
Shade A - 1x Pale Pink
Shade B - 1x Pink
(Size 1: 2 balls yarn).

Baby Panda 2:
Shade A - 1x Pale Blue
Shade B - 1x Royal
(Size 1: 2 balls yarn).

What you will need:
Washable toy stuffing.
Oddment of black DK yarn for the nose and mouth for each Panda. A pair of 12mm black toy eyes for each Panda.
A small amount of white felt fabric for the eyes of each Panda.

Only use small parts if the toy is for a child over 3 years of age.
