As my all-time favorite sock yarn must be Manos Del Uruguay’s Alegria, it’s obvious that Alegria Grande had me at hello.

7 am came to my mind when I wanted to use one skein wisely: a pair of legwarmers that shows the best of semi-solid, hand dyed yarn. The simple stitch pattern is interesting enough to knit, yet it allows the beautiful yarn to be the heroine of the story.

7 am is a quick and easy pattern, which makes a perfect last-minute gift for someone who loves their yoga early in the morning – or who insists on wearing skirts thru the winter.

One skein is enough for size S and M legwarmers, but for L you’ll need two skeins.
