#30 Head Band
by Lola Ehrlich
Tame leonine locks elegantly with an easy-stitch braided headband. Using “Zara 8” from Filatura di Crosa/Tahki-Stacy Charles, the Dutch-born, Paris-raised Ehrlich--who opened her famed New York atelier, Lola Hats, in 1989 after serving two years as Vogue Knitting’s editor-in-chief--began the ribbed band as a single strip, split the strip into three pieces and braided them, them knit the pieces together again. A simple knot makes for an easy fit.
