3 different patterns all using the same bulky yarn.

These hats work up quickly on size 15 needles.
Style A is ribbed and styles B and C are garter stitch.

Style A is a real cold weather hat, “walking the dog” hat.

Style B is more of a “skater style” unisex hat.

Style C uses 2 strands of contrasting colors to produce a tweedy effect and a firmer stylish design.

Any one of them is a good project to try knitting in the round and using double pointed needles. Good for the advanced beginner, while an experienced knitter can knit up a hat in an evening.

They are all knit in the round and therefore seamless!

The gauge is 2 stitches = 1”. Two yarns great for these hats are Plymouth Yarn Co. Encore Mega and Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick. Both readily available.
