The 2025 Spring Pet Doodle is inspired by cute cats and dogs who are ready for spring! Whether it’s a cute rain jacket, or love hearts for Valentine’s Day, these furry friends are a great addition to any spring knit!

The 6 2025 Spring Pet charts include a dog in a raincoat, a cat in a raincoat, a dog wearing heart glasses, a cat wearing heart glasses, a dog with heart headband, and a cat with heart headband.

This is a Doodle Series Pattern, which means it includes micro charts intended to be used as mix-and-match colorwork motifs throughout the project. Use the charts in this pattern, or you can substitute ANY other Doodle charts!

This pattern is worked in the round, beginning with a ribbed bottom edge, followed by stranded colorwork, and finishing in ribbing along the top edge.

Approx. 16, 20 (24, 28, 32) in 40, 50 (60, 70, 80) cm finished cowl circumference.

YARN

Any DK, light worsted, or sport weight yarn that meets gauge. Doodles are designed to use leftover yarn, yarn advents, or any other small batches of colorways in your stash. Yarn shown is a suggestion from the Designer. Alternative yarns are encouraged.

Sample uses Yarnaceous Fibers Bronto DK base, 85% Superwash Merino Wool / 15% Nylon, 100 g skeins, 246 yards 225 m.

Yardage listed in total yards per size in colorwork due to the customizable nature of this pattern.
