Pattern description from Vogue Knitting, Holiday 2007:
“Starmore, the doyenne of Fair Isle and Aran knitting, here resurrects her Oregon Autumn cardigan. This long-loved favorite weaves a rustic tapestry with no fewer than seventeen hues of Virtual Yarns’ ‘Hebridean 2-Ply,’ a fiber that pays homage to Starmore’s childhood home in the Outer Hebrides, off the coast of Scotland, where she learned to knit soon after she learned to walk. The garment is worked in the round using Fair Isle techniques, including corrugated ribs and steeks.”
