#19 Gingerbread Village
by Amy Bahrt
Embellished with bobbles, stripes and I-cord candy canes, this gingerbread house looks good enough to eat. Knit in stockinette with a seed-stitch “snow” border, it features an intarsia-knit door and windows. A plastic mesh lining reinforces the shape. Fir trees, knit over cardboard cones, complete the village.
