1826C Sleeveless Sweater
Passap machine knitting instructions for a sleeveless top with waist-shaping and bust darts. There is a picot hem at the bottom, and picot edging on the neck band. The top is finished with a row of single crochet on the back opening before inserting a zip.
The top is part of a “five piece outfit for Teens and Twens: Jacket, sweater, skirt, hot-pants and gaucho-pants (knee-length)”
The pattern calls for “10 ozs fine wool, pale violet, taken twofold”. The yardage is not given but the test square in stocking stitch is 100 sts = 28 cm, 100 rows = 21, 5 cm knit at stitch size 4 (for the pink, DM80 would be stitch size 4½)
There are photos on pages 4 & 5 of the Model Book (p6 & 7 of the pdf), the instructions start on p32 of the Description Book (p52 of the pdf).
