“A bean shape become Linda Medina’s seed of inspiration. Solid stitching that covers the D-ring strap contrasts with the body’s black-and-white garter-stitch stripes. The bag is knit flat with Lion Brand Yarn’s ‘Sasha,’ assembled, then zippered, lined and tasseled.”

Stuff:

• Sasha by Lion Brand Yarn, 1¾oz/50g skeins, each approx 21yd/20m (wool/nylon)

• 3 skeins in #153 Onyx

• 2 skeins in #100 Snow

• One pair size 13 (9mm) needles or size to get the gauge

• One size K-10½ (6.5mm) crochet hook

• 12”/30.5cm black zipper

• 1yd/1m lining fabric

• Four 5/8” (8mm) brass plated D rings

• Matching sewing thread and needle
