#152 2016 Holiday Hat
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This simple pattern can cover a family of heads, any age and many styles. The 3 samples shown were knit with cashmere and a Yak merino blend. Both yarns are so soft, lightweight and warm. Any yarn that works up at 61⁄2 stitches to the inch will work well. By playing with the rib length, rolled edge, and finished length, your possibilities are endless. Add a pompom of wool or fur. After knitting quite a few hats and measuring them on family and friends, my final calculations for the most perfectly balanced sag is a total length of 11”.
