These directions are for small size (8-10). Changes for medium size (12-14) and large size (16-18) are in parentheses.

Materials:
Bernat Souffle (200 yd. balls) 4(5-5) or any equivalent sports weight yarn that will give the specified stitch gauge.
1 pair each straight knitting needles Nos. 8, 9 and 10 1/2 (5.00mm, 5.50mm and 6.50mm) or any size needles that will give the specified stitch gauge.

Gauge: 9 sts = 2”, 5 rows = 1” in pattern stitch

Note: Use yarn double throughout.
