In the summer of 2017 I had a lightbulb idea one day when I was knitting vanilla socks. The idea was to make loops, then on subsequent rows/rounds to use the yarn of those loops to make vertical designs. Vertical stranded knitting is not a new idea, but using a loop makes it very manageable and the termination of the loop means no ends to weave in!!!! I’ve been exploring this idea ever since…having tons of fun.
