Make these festive tree coasters in contrasting solid colors or pair a solid with an ombre. Knit in mosaic garter stitch, just one strand of color works every two rows while the other strand rests at the edge. Try your camera’s “black & white” setting to look at your yarns in grayscale and check the contrast between your selection(s). Both positive and negative charts are included in the pattern along with full written instructions. For more variety reverse the colors or try the background pattern alone.
