I have designed this scarf to showcase the striking color changes of Noro yarns, the undulating lace pattern really maximizes this effect. There are many other yarns that would work equally well in this design, some examples are K1C2 Paintbox, Universal Poems, Jojoland Rhythm, and even Patons SWS. I would suggest the use of needles couple of sizes larger than recommended by the manufacturer to enhance the lace eyelets. The gauge is not very important as long as the scarf drapes well and the lace patterning remains intact.
