Wiggle!
Wiggle is a top-down, yoked sweater featuring a simple but eye-catching design. It can be worked in anything from 1 to 7 main colours, with 1 contrast colour of wavy stripes interspersed throughout the garment.
SIZING GUIDE
This garment is graded into 6 sizes based on the age of the child: 2 (4, 6, 8) (10, 12). Recommended positive ease is 3-5” / 7.5-10.5cm at the chest circumference.
Finished Garment Chest Circumference: 24 (27.5, 28.5, 29.75) (30.75, 34.25)“ / 60 (69, 71.5, 74.5) (77, 85.5)cm.
GAUGE
Using 3.25mm / US size 3 needles, or needle size required to meet gauge, 28 stitches over 34 rounds in stockinette stitch, blocked, creates a 4x4”/10x10cm square.
Neckband, waistband and cuff circumferences assume you are working 7.5 sts per 1” / 2.5 cm.
YARN
The sample has been worked using Northshire Yarns’ 4 ply Baby Alpaca base (70% Baby Alpaca / 20% Silk / 10% Cashmere; 400m / 438yds per 100g)
YARDAGE
Main Colour: 376 (476, 552, 599) (654, 751) metres / 411 (521, 604, 655) (715, 822) yards / 94 (119, 138, 150) (164, 188) grams.
