Wheaten Wrap
It begins with a sharp, deep toothed edge. The shaft of wheat lace softens that crispness. The wide rib is shaped with hidden short rows to form a crescent, and it is framed on 3 sides with an i-cord edge.
The wrap is shown in a fingering weight, but it’s also being worked up in a soft Merino worsted for the dead of Winter - check the project pages for details.
If a deeper shawl is desired, or a shallower scarf, knit more (or fewer) inches after the short rows are complete.
