Wedding Dolls (Mini "Chibi" Bride & Groom Couple)
The Wedding Dolls pattern provides instructions for creating a darling, little bride and groom. They make perfect wedding gifts, and can be used as either cake toppers or as décor. These dolls can also be customizable. This pattern serves as a base, but you can change their accessories, hairstyles, color of clothing, hair, or skin tone, and more! Have fun with it, and don’t be afraid to be creative!
THIS PATTERN CONTAINS: 11 pages of written crochet instructions (US terms) with helpful photographs on how to make the Wedding Dolls and the doily base.
Finished Measurements: approximately 3-¾ inches (9.5 centimeters) in height. Base is approximately 5 inches (12.5 centimeters) in diameter.
Level: advanced beginner; requires familiarity with amigurumi/crochet stitches
Stitches/Terms used: magic ring, chain (ch), single crochet (sc), slip stitch (sl st), back loop only (BLO), decrease/”single crochet two stitches together” (dec), increase/”two single crochet in same stitch” (inc)
Materials
• Worsted medium weight (4) yarn in selected colors
• 3.50 mm crochet hook
• Two pairs of 6mm plastic safety eyes
• Yarn needle
• Embroidery thread for mouth
• Embroidery needle
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Beads/pellets for weighted stuffing in body
• Tiny pre-made bow for groom (or ribbon to make one)
