Tiny Checks
Tiny Checks combines one of my favorite classic colorwork motifs with my favorite silhouette, and my favorite type of yarn! The classic 2-color check pattern makes this sweater easy to style and nostalgic to wear. I chose to knit mine in a fractal spun hand-spun yarn which created a subtle color changing effect throughout the sweater.
Construction: Tiny Checks is knit from the bottom up in the round in stranded colorwork. The front and back yokes are knit separately, flat, and feature shoulder shaping and a ribbed boatneck neckline. The yoke halves are seamed at the shoulders. Sleeves are picked up and worked in the round outward from the body.
