The Sandy
by Tamara Evans
Friends are a vital necessity to life. Their companionship, influence, and connection help make us who we are. This pattern was named for a sweet friend who has helped me immeasurably in my knitting career. Plus, she didn’t really think I would name this pattern after when she suggested I do so. Gotcha, Sandy!
Appropriate for the Red Scarf Project (my charity of the year), this pattern is a fun, simple knit in any color. Alternating sections of knit and purl rows pair with a mistake rib to add texture and depth. Make one for a foster care student, yourself or a friend.
