I absolutely love stitch dictionaries. They’re so fun to flip through and so inspiring. I kept seeing this lace pattern in different books with different names — one book called it “Little Frogs” and another “Snow Flurry.” I loved it so much I decided to turn it into a cowl! I used Earl Grey Fiber Company’s Chai Worsted yarn, which is an exclusive base to my local yarn store The Black Squirrel in Berkeley, CA. I love worsted weight lace, and this cowl is perfectly comfortable, cozy, and breathable.

This cowl is worked seamlessly in the round, and the pattern include written and charted instructions.

To obtain an ideal balance of structure and drape, this cowl is knit with smaller needles than you would normally use for the suggested yarn.

Tonal and semi-solid yards will show off the lace the best, but lightly variegated skeins like the one I used for my sample will work, too.
