Tassel Tango
The Tassel Tango is a top-down crescent shaped shawl that comes in three different sizes: Petite (small), Classic (medium) and Grande (large). Each size was made featuring beautiful yarn from Canadian dyers!
This shawl has a fun and interactive element: the tassels are removeable so that you can have fun trading them with others! The inspiration behind this idea came from a desire to have an “icebreaker” for fibre events such as festivals or knit nights with new people! It’s always so fun to chat with others about their knitwear, so I thought, why not have an interactive piece of knitwear?
My dream is to one day have all of my own tassels traded off to others around the world, so that I can have a shawl full of memories of friends both new and old! Memories of fibre events and knit nights will be attached to this shawl for years to come!

PATTERN NOTES:
Because each size was knit using different yarn from different dyers, I have included separate gauges to accommodate this. Even though I used fingering weight yarn for each size, the thickness varied from dyer to dyer. Some were more plump and others less so. All of them turned out beautifully though!
