About the pattern

Easily make a crescent Tunisian crochet shawl that has lovely drape and a simple lace pattern of growing chevrons.

Use it for a chilly spring or autumn wedding, worked up in luxurious alpaca, or make it in thicker yarn for a winter shawl.

Skip the first few rows to make it into a capelet or add more repeats for a circle, or do both to make a skirt.

Blocking reveals the rows upon rows of eyelets that create a geometric and highly symmetrical texture, like the facets of a highly polished citrine gemstone.

The shaping inherent in the pattern creates cute spikes on the edge, which can also be blocked into scallops.

Skill level

Experienced beginner or intermediate, due to eyelets and decreases.

Size and measurements

This shawl can be made larger or smaller, depending on the row you stop on. For a larger shawl, continue working until the end of the instructions.
