Summit Pass
As we head in to the worst part of winter, I’ll be wearing my snuggly sweaters more and more. This wide-necked pullover keeps in the warmth, and the zig-zag patterning reminds me of switchbacks the Rocky Mountain passes.

Yarn: Mrs. Crosby Loves to Play Steamer Trunk (100% Superwash Merino wool, 164 yards/100g), approximately 5(6, 6, 7, 9, 9) skeins. 44” sample worked in 1200 yards Prance. Your yardage will vary with any adjustments you make.
Needles:
US #7/4.50mm circular needle, 32 inches or longer (larger sizes may prefer a longer needle).
Set of US #7/4.50mm double pointed needles or preferred method for small circumference knitting in the round.
Or size to make gauge
Gauge: 16 stitches/24 rows per 4” in blocked stockinette stitch, worked in the round.
Notions: Stitch markers, waste yarn or stitch holders, darning needle.
